I applied for an Amber Grant by searching grants and clicking on the "their" website. There was an application fee of $25, which I paid on 2/5/26. I sent the card to: [email protected] . Then on 3/9/26, I received an email from the following address saying I won the grant: [email protected] . In the body of the email this website was listed: www.ambergrantfoundation.com. This website is a scam but looks AMAZINGLY legit. Then again on 3/9/26, I received a second email asking for documentation to prove my business is legit. What I sent did not have any sensitive information on it. However, I did also send a copy of my valid drivers license as proof of my identity. The information was sent to: [email protected] . Then on 3/10/26, they replied saying I was ready to move to the final step before receiving the grant. This is what they requested, "To complete the process, a $300 dispatch and disbursement processing fee is required. Payment can be made using an Apple, One4all, or Sephora gift card and sent to [email protected] . Once the payment is confirmed, your grant check will be scheduled for release." The email address it came from was again the [email protected] . This is when I became [BBB Scam Type: Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes] [Business: Amber Grant Foundation] [Location: CA, USA- 95963]
