Withdrawal frozen - scam? I recently participated in an event where I was required to top up USD$200K in order to receive a $18K bonus. I was informed that I would be able to withdraw my funds upon completing the activity. To fulfill this requirement, I borrowed money from multiple people(Friends/Family) Upon reaching the USD $200K, I contacted the customer service team to inquire about initiating the withdrawal. I was informed that I could proceed with the withdrawal. However, when I attempted to withdraw USD$22K or CAD$30K, I was informed that my account was flagged as being at risk and that I would need to pay an additional "verification fee" before I could proceed with the withdrawal. I must admit that this unexpected request for an additional fee has left me feeling concerned and unsure about the legitimacy of the platform. I have withdrawn money before, but for under $5K.
