I was contacted unsolicited by this company via phone and email, offering to purchase my timeshare and a residence in Mexico at an attractive price. This matches a scam detailed in AARP Magazine: Fraudsters pose as brokers, promise a buyer, send fake escrow contracts showing 'deposited' funds, and demand upfront 'reimbursable' fees (transfer, taxes, etc.) that escalate—victims lose money on a nonexistent sale. Journalist Steve Fisher links these operations to Mexico's Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) call centers. U.S. officials estimate hundreds of millions lost annually; in August 2025, the Treasury Department sanctioned a network of 13 businesses near Puerto Vallarta tied to CJNG and these scams. For legitimate timeshare sales, use resources from arda.org. Ignore unsolicited offers—report to BBB Scam Tracker, FTC, or FBI (ic3.gov). I was contacted unsolicited by Alexander Oliver with this company via phone and email, offering to purchase my timeshare and a residence in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico at an attractive price. He is posing as a sales representative with Air Real estate and advised me that he has a buyer, He advised me and my wife to sign the proposal of purchase then they will start the process of setting up our escrow account and will have a contract sent over to sign, once this is signed and sent back, I will receive the login information for my escrow portal which will show deposited funds. At this time, I will need to send my timeshare and residency membership a transfer fee equal to five times the then-current maintenance fee which is noted under the Assignment of rights on my Residency Club and Timeshare agreements. I submitted this review when I realized that this is most likely a scam on the Indianapolis Indiana BBB site. I was contacted unsolicited by this company via phone and email, offering to purchase my timeshare and a residenc [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Air Real Estate] [Location: TX, USA- 76513]
