I was contacted via email by Jessica Hollins. She asked me if I was interested in a remote data entry position with flexible hours paying $30 an hour. She sent me a link to the companies website. After I expressed interest she sent me 2 links. Test link: https://assessment.summitbioimaging.careers/ Employee form link: https://forms.office.com/r/stVzaHGpVg The test was essentially my interview with 14 questions, 7 multiple choice and 7 written responses. I had no zoom meetings of phone calls for an actual interview. The next morning they sent me an email with an offer letter. They said “Given our need to fill this role promptly, we have expedited the onboarding process.” Which seemed suspicious. They then sent me a link https://t.me/jessica21278 to connect via telegram with Jessica Hollins. She sent me an introduction video on telegram but again no phone call or video meeting. On telegram she mentioned needing to email me a check so I could buy a license needed to view confidential patient information in my home. She also mentioned mailing me company equipment to use. The next day I received an email from Lee Liggett with the check. She mentioned multiple times to reply quickly, save her email address to my contact and to turn on notifications for Telegram. Everything happened so quickly and was extremely elaborate. I did searches to see if it was a scam and nothing came up, I had to do detailed searches to see that it was a scam.
