Car Transport scam : Auto Transporterz https://www.autotransporterz.com/ Hello everyone, Both me and my friend were scammed by this so-called company. They are a car transport broker. What they do is take your information and just relay to actual carriers who ship your car. Anyhow, they make you sign a contract first (shady contract if you read it). Basically, it says you can't report them to BBB or any review site, or else you'll pay damages. This is amongst other shady agreements in contract like the carrier determines the final price. You HAVE to sign contract before they will do anything. So they quoted me on a price, then took my deposit money right away. Carrier ships my car and demands money otherwise they will not give me my car. Basically leaving me to deal with these scammers from Auto Transporterz who ALREADY took my deposit money and ran. If you try to call Auto Transporterz, you will ALWAYS get an automated message saying they are experiencing high volumes. You can't get through to anyone but one guy named John (who basically does all this I suppose). He directs me to other departments but all they do is lead straight to voicemail. Email no go either, he gives email address of customer service the WON'T respond because it isn't real. Lastly, they solicited my phone number and email for sure, because I have been receiving nonstop solicited calls from Florida (where they're based), and receiving crazy amount of spam ever since I gave them my number. I need to know what I can do to prevent others from falling into this scam. Please help! -Enraged student that needed to get his car shipped and fell into this scam.
