Online shopping fraud and deceptive advertising resulting in a financial loss. Purchased a $70 'Snore Device' advertised through an Instragam ad, which falsely claimed to be endorsed by Joe Rogan and a video of him endorsing. The transaction was processed under the business name Averia and apparently is a well documented scam. The advertised product was a brand-name, endorsed device, but the seller engaged in a bait-and-switch scam by shipping a counterfeit, non medical cheap, unbranded, non-functional, harmful and unsafe product instead. The original website was disabled and now has a different website at Averia.com. ?The fraudulent item was shipped from a fulfillment center located at a known scam address: 9208 Charles Smith Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 and from Jerry Yasfbara. The use of a false celebrity endorsement and the delivery of a useless product from a widely reported scam address indicates a large-scale, deceptive operation targeting consumers.
