Is Continual Production of Altcoins like Printing Fiat? My understanding of economics and currencies isn't my strongest area (I'm attempting to graduate at babypips.com to remedy this so please don't kill me with downvotes) but I was wondering if the continual release of altcoins (often with some of them being pump and dump type releases) are similar to governments printing money and devaluing their own currency? The number of Bitcoin was capped to prevent deflation, but if we continue creating endless new cryptocurrencies doesn't that kind of defeat the point? Apologies if this is way off the mark!
