Foreign object in food ingested w/proof I went to a deli I frequent near my job. Its higher end and definitely on the pricier side. This will become TMI so just warning you now. I ate a sandwich from there about 4 days ago. Since then I’ve had extreme stomach pain and discomfort and inability to use the restroom. This morning I finally did, at the end of this I had to pull a piece of plastic OUT OF MYSELF. I kid you not, it a strip of plastic that says “boarshead.com” I saved it and have it in a baggy and also intend on visiting a doctor. I have the reciept and an image of my food along with time stamps. I would also like to add that they proudly promote that they are a “boarshead meat only deli counter”. Is there any legal action I can take against them? Or is there anyway I can be compensated through being in contact with the store first? Location: NYC
