I was on yahoo finance and out of curiosity clicked an ad that was talking about altzheimer's (I thought it was educational). But, instead it was a video, on a fake website designed to look like CNN health. The video was AI deep fake of famous people (Samuel Jackson, Bill gates, Sanjay Gupta, Chris Hemsworth) saying this honey blend will cure alzheimer's. It had fake "as seen in" logos from places like New York Times, CBS News, CNN etc. And some fake comments from 'people' saying they didn't believe it at first but it really works. Even the tab title was "Harvard Exposes "Parasitic"... It was one of those videos that keeps saying (even in the comments) "you need to watch this all the way to the end" and it just kept going on and on. (I left before it was over so I don't know how much it costs, or where they're having people send the money) It is disgusting that yahoo would allow this kind of slop to target innocent elderly people. They don't understand deep fakes and are scared about losing their memory.
