Is spying/snooping on someone who is your potential enemy allowed in social engineering? Not manipulate, just spy. I'm new to social engineering and I find that increasingly people who seem nice can backstab you any time as there seem to be an increased narcissistic sociopath culture amongst young people. I'm not trying to generalize but it looks like women commit these worst of the crimes like leaving a kid in the car, in the washing machine, carelessly leaving kid with loaded weapon etc. This is not just an American thing, I'm Indian and this kind of ridiculous things are happening in India too. If you head over to /r/India you'd see some ridiculous crimes committed by women for petty things like even something involving food etc.
