Speeding Ticket in Missouri I received a speeding ticket in Missouri. Apparently I was driving 12 miles per hour over the speed limit, and was caught by watch (air) method on a federal interstate highway, by the state patrol. I have contacted several lawyers in the county in which I received the ticket (Cape Girardeau) and they informed me that it was not worth their time for me to hire them, because the P.A. in the county was the only in the state that would not ammend a speeding ticket to a non-moving violation. I drive a very common car (Toyota Camry) and feel that my vehicle may have been mistaken for another car that was speeding. I know that probably doesn't matter, but I have a problem with pleading guilty to a crime I didn't commit. How would I craft an affidavit to do this? Anyone have an example that I could use?
