I ordered it around Christmastime and it arrived after two weeks. The jacket that arrived appeared to be of lesser quality than what the pictures depict. It has a flimsier construction, thinner material, a generic and poorly printed care instruction tag, and the placement of the pockets were different from what the store images show. I soon learned that this company's return policy for discounted items are final sale. If not, the customer has to pay to ship back the returned item to the warehouse. I was very dissatisfied with the purchase, and with nothing else to do for recourse, I did some more research. A closer look at the cartertoronto.com website reveals that the entire website's text, reviews, and images are most if not all AI-generated. Further checks on its Facebook store and trustpilot reviews reveals that this store is not Canadian-based, and that it is in fact a company based from China. Many reviews corroborate my findings of poor quality, terrible customer service, and deception. This company can only be contacted through email and appears to have no phone number to call them.
