Lawyers scam from Italy? My partner received a rather complex and intimate letter from a lawyers based in Italy that explained she was owed about 5m Euros from her fathers estate (red flag I know). The letter basically outlines that she needs to contact them via Phone, fax or email to chat and they can talk about the relevant documents needed. I know how ridiculous this sounds, but she has been going through a legal battle with her fathers new GF. Her father passed away before I met her so it's kind of a coincidence that this was sent to her out of the blue after she'd been going through all that. I'm pretty good at spotting scams when I see them but the content in this one, and the format is good enough for me to have to get another opinion. I looked up the lawyers and the website (seems) legit. It's Italian. But when I look up the domain (http://cesarinoagnelliassociati.com), it's based in Czech Republic. So there's something weird there. Anyway, what is the best way to see if this is actually legit. We're thinking of taking it to our solicitors. EDIT: Thank you all for your time and efforts.
