Clear mic RAT and ChatGPT I recently got a microphone and asked chat got for some tuning software which is when it sent me to clearmic.net for general software capable of tuning my new device. Sadly it was looking extremely suspicious but my stupid idiot self DIDNT notice until it was already installed. The thing was a RAT and the next day a message popped up telling me I had rats on my pc and my programs started closing quickly. Not wasting any time I spammed alt f4 and hit enter to shut my pc down and unplugged the Ethernet. Booting my pc up again led me to an error message from event viewer or something like that from clear mic saying it couldn’t use some https paste bin nonsense, clearly attempting to activate payloads but couldn’t connect. Software never even worked btw.Windows defender was damaged so I used grok to repair it and do an offline scan , a full scan is also now in progress but I have no faith in it. I have uninstalled cleaemic cleared my temp folder as well. If any tech wizard is able to diagnose what type of rat this is and how I can remove it properly I’d appreciate it!
