replied to two different company's postings for remote job. got identical text responses from same person at same phone # asking to do text screening - (said they were with a recruit service working for both companies) which eventually proceeded to being asked to schedule a phone interview, shortlisted with senior mgmt. evaded answering questions about WHEN the interview would be BUT said i needed to do a credit/background check to proceed. said they could not send the link to my phone due to "problems" with my phone, or dishonest people causing problems with company email... sent me a very suspicious looking plaintext email "link" that went directly into my spam filter. referring me to clickfreescore22.credit3score.com. did not attempt to open. quick online search showed prior reports of scam involving difficult to cancel billing for fees at this website. would upload screenshots of job postings on postjobfree.com and of text msgs but i can only upload one image apparently. so just including the email link image.
