Does anyone have any experience with electric nail clippers? So my grandad is in a care home and struggles a lot with most tasks. One thing I've noticed when visiting is that his fingernails don't get cut by the staff as often as we'd like. Unfortunately he doesn't have the mobility or control to use nail clippers or nail scissors. So I decided to look into alternatives and I couldn't find much other than this automatic nail clipper: [https://clipdifferent.com/product/automatic-fingernail-clipper/](https://clipdifferent.com/product/automatic-fingernail-clipper/) . It sits on a table and has a rotating file that is behind a metal plate, you place your fingernail through the plate and move your finger side to side to file down your nails. I'm trying to decide whether this would be helpful or not? As an engineer I'm tempted to try and come up with my own solution... I can't seem to find many reviews at all for this product and it costs a fortune ($150...) so it's a big risk buying it for my grandad if it doesn't work. So has anyone used one of these or just has some thoughts on whether it would be helpful? I have my own mixed thoughts but I don't want to provide bias by saying them right now :) Or is there a good alternative you've found?
