Scam: coinspos.com I was totally the victim of a very elaborate, very long term, pig butchering scam. My beautiful female honey pot got in touch with me on TikTok, of all things. Our conversation very quickly went to WhatsApp. (FIRST RED FLAG: WHY ARE WE COMMUNICATING ON WHATSAPP IF YOU’RE IN THE US?) We were talking, flirting, and she very, very subtly let me know about what her finances were. Like, an accidental corner of a picture captured some information about her finances. So, so subtle. She invited me into her “inner circle” where we would both be making crazy returns on money. She explained it away saying that her sister had helped write the source code for a crypto wallet, so she had the inside scoop. At the beginning, I didn’t believe it at all. I tested the waters with a trivial amount of money, thinking that nothing would work. To my surprise, it did. I attached my wallet to coinspos.com. (DO NOT DO THIS YOURSELF!!) The website was comprehensive, contained its own wallet, posted transactions to the Blockchain, and did everything a realistic website is supposed to. Even though the scam is done, and they have my money, and there’s no way I can get it back, it is still operational for me. I don’t know why they haven’t cut me off. The basic functionality of the website was node staking. You pledge USDT by simply having it in your wallet, and they pay dividends. Also -and this is where I was really taken in - they allowed users to participate in “smart contracts“ that paid double the normal rate, plus a bonus. The first one I tried worked perfectly. I was able to withdraw my money. But, that’s how they get you. I, with the encouragement of my “honey pot“ reinvested my “earnings“ and added more cash from the outside. When I was unable to meet a funding threshold, she even “lent“ me the money I was missing. But, when it came time to withdraw my earnings, I had to pay 10% upfront. They wouldn’t take it from the earnings that were to be paid out
