Our company has been targeted by individuals claiming to be Contractor Registrations Center employees, sending what are evidently scam emails. The scam emails are being sent using "sam[at]contractoregistrationscenter.com. We called their scam operation, and someone with a fake name “Monika” picked up the phone, and when we said "why are you sending us scam emails?", she immeidately disconnected the call and then blocked our phone number. They intentionally use fake names and email addresses to deceive people into revealing sensitive information. More importantly, after blocking those emails, similar emails began arriving at our company email address. We never signed up to get those scam emails from this scammer or its subsidiaries. We have no relationship with them and have never done business with them. We have no intention to do business with this scammer. There is no unsubscribe link or clear way to stop the emails. Besides, the pattern and content of such emails raise serious concerns about potentially deceptive or scam-like practices. Bombarding our mailboxes about our CAGE Code with those scam emails does not make sense at all. We have never given consent to receive unsolicited/fraudulent emails from these scam businesses. A scam operation from another state launched an aggressive and unwarranted attack on us in Connecticut. Their interference in our business is completely out of line, and what we do is absolutely none of their business. If they think they can win an award, go for it. We don't need dirty money, we don't want to scam people, we don't want to steal government money. Cloudflare clearly marked this scammer’s website as a phishing one. See the attached.
