NY US Scam Vendor Craft-folk.com adv on Google Placed an order to Craft-folk this morning w/o checking on this company's history. Had immediate 2nd thoughts & did a search. YIKES! So angry with myself... I just wanted the bees to have a place to live. My bad ..... IMMEDIATELY called my bank. Attempted to try to cancel this order via Shopify. Oh no. Shopify said contact the vendor. (What, exactly, does shopify DO do?) Emailed the alleged vendor, Craft-folk, like within an hour and told them to cancel this order. An hr or 2 after that, Rec'd an answer from Craft-folk saying they would cancel the order. PHEW! Then 8 hrs later rec'd an email from Craft-folk (in NC, I might add): "Heyy. Thank you for your message! We will be happy to help you. The order has already been processed, therefore it cannot be cancelled. If there is anything else we can help you with, feel free to contact us. We would be happy to help:) Best regards, Julia from Craft-folk." IOW, ha-ha we have your card # & money, go jump. Um, since when exactly can an order not be cancelled. ? *What??* You acknowledged & agreed that it was cancelled 7 hours ago. Wtf? Do NOT try to order from this company. Their reviews are abysmal with no customer service & are basically a scam outfit with bogus merchandise & bogus reviews on their website. I should have done my due diligence. NEITHER will I patronize Shopify & their invisible CS (they will not help at all. not sure what purpose they do serve - am deleting the app - i can track my own orders & always have) I will never patronize bs Google or any of its subsidieries. Google *advertised* this vendor. That's what started this during my morning coffee. You know what? if you can take their advertising $, then Google, you are just as guilty/shady - & by law should be held just as accountable as any scammer.
