Fedex clearance administration charge So I bought an item from California (I'm in the UK), it was shipped by fedex and arrived no problems. A few days later (yesterday) I received a letter from Fedex asking me for the import tax, that's fair enough I expected that. What I didn't expect however was a £10.50 "Fedex clearance administration charge" slapped on top. After a quick google i came across [this article](http://www.craig-west.co.uk/2008/11/how_to_beat_unlawful_admin_charges_by_fedex/). I checked the T&Cs on the site I bought the item from, which states the following: "*International shipments may be subject to import taxes and/or customs fees. These fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient. If a shipment is refused and returned, you will be responsible for any import taxes and/or return shipping costs incurred by iFixit. These fees are specific for the destination country therefore we do not know what the amount will be. The shipping and handling fee applied by iFixit at checkout does NOT cover any duties, taxes or brokerage fees. Please be prepared to pay these fees when your package is delivered. If the package is refused or returned to us, all customs charges or fees will be charged to you.*" My question is; does the term 'brokerage fees' apply to this administration charge? Am I able to fight this on the grounds stated in the article above?
