Community Reports

On March 3, 2026 I called a phone number listed on Google as Cathay Pacific airlines. The representative took my credit card information and said he was booking a flight for me and ** *** ***** ****** **** *** ******** ** ** ******** ***** for a trip scheduled to depart June 20th. I was on the phone with the person for close to 4 hours. During that time he asked for our passport information, email address, and contact information. He then said we would have to add an additional $500 for checked baggage. Things started to sound suspicious. He then told me I needed to go into my Citi bank credit card app to approve the charge from www.csair.com for $2,919.26. I approved this charge and when I asked him to confirm that I was talking to Cathay Pacific Airlines, he then replied that he was a third party vendor. I immediately told him to cancel the reservation and that I thought I was talking to Cathay Pacific airlines. He told me he would cancel it and sent us a cancellation email, but that it could take up to 5 business days for me to see the refund on my credit card. I still have not received any refund from this merchant. [BBB Scam Type: Travel/Vacation/Timeshare] [Business: Naruto Travels] [Location: CA, USA - 93105]
