REVI CHARGERS: Scammed into buying a cool gadget that maybe never existed Hi. This all started when I began looking into buying a portable charger for my iPhone. Saw a few [fairly reputable sources](http://www.cultofmac.com/275800/credit-card-sized-iphone-charger-packs-backup-battery/) mention this new gadget, the [Revi Charger](http://revicharger.com/). It was exactly what I wanted and I pretty much immediately pre-ordered one for $40 including a flat rate shipping fee. This was about late January. I will admit I didn't do much research into the product (didn't check its facebook and twitter pages to see that they hadn't been updated in about a year and people had already begun commenting "so when will I actually get this thing?"), but the fact that tech blogs were recommending it and the site appearing to be pretty legit had me feeling pretty confident. The site's FAQ promised shipments of the chargers to start rolling out in February. Cut to early March, nothing. I e-mailed them on March 4th asking for an update. Got this fairly prompt response : *Hi Raquel, Sorry for the late reply. We had a manufacturing delay as we mentioned. Its all sorted out now. We will start manufacturing after Chinese new years which is beginning of March. We will be shipping out beginning of April. We are exited to receive the Revi Charger and are confident you would like it and find it useful for everyday. We will inform you when we ship your order out. Thanks for your patience.
