Am I Due $34/hour minimum wage in CA Location: California Hello! I am a construction worker in CA, where the minimum wage is $16.90/hour. However, I have recently been made aware of California Wage Order 16, which requires the contractor to provide all tools for their workers or otherwise pay double the minimum wage. My question is this. If my boss requires a list of tools, am I Due this much money? What if he offers to provide tools if asked, but rarely does so and fires people that make the request (though no explicitly for that reason)? Finally, are benefits included in this compensation?
