Begginer in email privacy, which FREE email provider should I start with? Hey guys, I've been trying to degoogle for some time and now It's time for email. I'll keep my Gmail address around for important stuff (government, banking, health insurance...) but my I'd like to move everything else to a more private address. My only requirement is that it has to support IMAP so I can use it with Thunderbird and it has to be free. I know that email is cheap but I'm a student and I'm trying to save as much money as possible, I already got a couple subs and I don't want them piling up and wasting money. For what I've seen there aren't that many email providers that fill these requirements, the ones that look promising are Disroot, Infomaniak (seems that they took a turn for the worst [recently](https://discuss.privacyguides.net/t/infomaniak-breaks-rank-and-comes-out-in-support-of-controversial-swiss-encryption-law/28065)) and Atomic mail (too good to be true?). First time posting here so sorry if I'm breaking any rules :( tried searching for similar posts but not that many people talked about these 3 services that I mentioned.
