[US] EGGKA.com is not a scam! I saw another redditor asking about the Hong-Kong based company EGGKA and whether or not it’s a scam. I’m happy to report that at least for me, it’s a legitimate company! I placed an order on June 3 (screenshots of the order and tryon attached) after getting ads for the brand on my IG for a few weeks. The website did look a bit “sketchy” by my standards since it wasn’t fully in English and the pricing, while fair, was in whole numbers which I’m not used to as a US customer. I placed an order for $215 and received it today (June 11). Here are my conclusions about EGGKA as a US-based customer: SHIPPING: After placing my order, I received a confirmation email and a shipping update the next day with a tracking number that did work in their tracking site. I received no further communication about the status of the package, which was a beige flag for me. I’ve ordered from international sites before, and they don’t always detail tracking besides one shipping email so I considered this to be a beige flag. Not immediate scam, but not the most reassuring. That being said, the shipping was surprisingly fast. I got my order in 8 days! With the company not being US-based, that was a pleasant surprise for me. I live in a western state so idk how shipping times would differ if you live on the east coast. Overall, the shipping gave small brand energy, but not scam energy. ITEM QUALITY/PRICE: I ordered 7 items for a total of $212 USD. While the items are fast fashion quality (a step above SHEIN/Cider, on par with some H&M pieces), I was pleasantly surprised to find that 3/7 items are 100% or 90% cotton. To get that many pieces with natural fibers for \~$20 per item is an incredible deal imo, and definitely a point in the not scam direction. As far as dropshipping/scam vibes, I’m not very well versed with dropshipping so I can’t confirm or deny if the items are actually manufactured for the EGGKA company exclusively.
