So what these people did was very convincing. They faked an email exchange using my bosses actual email address (Jenn). They send this exchange to the administrative assistant (Sylvia) who printed the documents and handed them to me. You will see the fake invoice, fake W9, and the email exchange. Please redact all email addresses ending in ensuvt.org if sharing this with anyone. What's really interesting is they say checks aren't accepted meaning they wanted us to wire them the money. (we don't do that). We are concerned because they know who our employees are and they know who to target. They did not use our mailing address in the Bill To section which was interesting.
