etsy.com

This seller has their own website, but also sells their products on Etsy.com. They claim the item my mom purchased shipped on 12/22, but the usps tracking says they haven’t even received the item. They keep blaming the postal service. Can you guys help me identify whether or not something on etsy is a scam? Hey so I found [this](https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/193538025/silver-amulet-of-talos-necklace-vitoria?ref=listing-shop-header-0) on etsy yesterday and I wanted to get it but it seams kind of suspicious. First thing is the price of the item $4.04 (Canadian) which just doesn't make sense because there's no way that can cover the cost of the materials never mind the time it took to make. The second thing is that all the reviews are from July 2014 but the store has existed sense 2013, the accounts that reviewed the store look legitimate because they are mostly several years old a some have legit looking friends but I'm assuming that can all be faked. However what makes me think it might be legit is i searched the internet for several of the pitchers on in the store i none of the where found any ware else so unless they just took a bunch of really good photos from a store that doesn't have their merchandise online i can't imagine how they would fake it. Now I'm assuming if these are real they must be really low quality which I'm ok with for the price. So can anyone more experienced with scams tell me whether or not i should stay way from this store? Texas or Federal Law re: shipment of glass pipe from California to Texas through the mail. First of all, thank you for taking time to click on this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. They sent me here from /r/trees, saying you folks were the bees knees. I'm interested in buying a new, unused blown glass pipe from etsy.com (California seller) and having it shipped to my home address in Texas. Presumably this would be using USPS, but FedEx or another shipper might be used. Is there any reason that this might not be legal? There are stores all around here where these sort of items may be purchased locally, but I'm worried that there might be some strange law that might give the cops reason to come kick my door in if the pipe were purchased on line and shipped from another state. I'm 26 years old, and the address is my own home address (not PO Box or Apt.). I am a professional and I cannot afford a legal ensnarement - the last thing I need is some sort of federal interstate drug paraphernalia trafficking conviction on my record.
