Fri. 03/27/26 @9:51 am CDT -- i received a letter this week from "Home Warranty Division," no company name given. It was signed by VICKY MERCER, Program Director. It is a Home Warranty expiration notice. The problem is - I DON'T OWN A HOME AT THIS TIME. I called today, asked for Vicky, who "wasn't available." I asked why would they send me a letter for a home warranty if I wasn't a home owner, and said it could be a case of identity theft. Asked where they got my info from [incl. address, an apartment bldg.]. The guy said that it was from "public records, City Hall." I asked if no one had sense enough to see if this address was in fact a single family home; he said no. I asked if they had a website, and he gave me https://evercareprotection.com I then said if Vicky wasn't available, I wanted to speak to another manager. At that point, I was put on hold for too long. Hung up and went to Evercare Protection's website. I called their number - 888/657-6481. I was told that the "Home Warranty Division" was not affiliated w/them, nor was the 4504 number one of theirs. So, I'm here.
