[US] Evinomis? Scam? https://evinomis.com/ I hope I’m posting this correctly! An old friend reached out to me with this link… I was a little weirded out because she is usually a little less blunt with her texts! But I didn’t think much of it. I went to the website and downloaded the pack, but when I went to install the setup my system blocked it. I want to make sure by downloading the setup I’m not scammed! I deleted it, but after looking it up it appears to be a malware in disguise! There’s not much information about it, but it looks like it takes your account information and sends the link to other people. I don’t know what else it does but I want to make sure my computer is safe. I work with my university and I wouldn’t want any information (and of course my personal info) to get out! :c (I don’t know how to add transcripts on mobile, but it is a friend of mine asking me to play a coop game with her, claiming that a friend needs people to playtest the game. Sends a link to the website and an unlisted video to the game. Website needed a security key to download so I asked. She sent a key. I tried to catch up with her, but her response was short. Was sent on discord!) Also small update while I was writing the post, she (aka scammer) is asking if I downloaded it. I have not, I am just going to ignore the messages, but I reached out to my friend on another social platform!! No response yet, but I’m 99% sure it is not her. Thank you so much for your help!!
