On August 12, 2025, my company (American Security Products) paid Internet Domain Name Services (IDNS) $120 for Order #463663 to register two domain names: fieldshieldservice.com fieldshieldservices.com The email receipt from IDNS confirmed that these domains were being registered. On December 5, 2025, nearly four months later, I checked the official .COM WHOIS registry for both domains. At that time, both searches returned “No match”, indicating that neither domain had been registered at the registry level despite our payment. Shortly after I emailed IDNS support on December 5 to question this, a new WHOIS lookup showed that fieldshieldservice.com was created that same day, 2025-12-05, with registrar Domain Jamboree, LLC. In other words, the domain appears to have been registered only after I raised a complaint, not at the time of purchase in August. As of my earlier lookup that day, fieldshieldservices.com still showed “No match”, suggesting it was never registered at all. I consider this a failure to provide services as advertised and a deceptive business practice: IDNS accepted payment in August but did not timely register the domains, and appears to have only registered one of them months later when challenged. I have asked IDNS to (1) unlock and provide the transfer (EPP/Auth) code for fieldshieldservice.com so we can move it to our own registrar at no additional cost, and (2) either register fieldshieldservices.com immediately and provide the transfer code, or refund the portion of the order for that domain. As of today, there has been no satisfactory resolution. I am requesting a full refund of the $120 or, at minimum, a refund for any domain that was not properly registered along with immediate cooperation in transferring any domains to our chosen registrar.
