Cysec and Binance Good morning all Recently made a post in r/cryptocurrency and they made me aware it was a scam. An employee claiming to be from cysec contacted me to return funds from a company they said they shut down for fraudulent activity. No mention of needing credit card info or anything relating to needing my details. So he shows me all his credentials etc via email seems legit. Get down to the crux of it and he needs a deposit to activate the blockchain.... That's when I asked the crypto people of reddit if that's normal and it was a resounding no! [https://www.financemagnates.com/institutional-forex/cysec-warns-against-impersonating-officers-fake-websites/](https://www.financemagnates.com/institutional-forex/cysec-warns-against-impersonating-officers-fake-websites/) Apparently the old [cysec.gov](https://cysec.gov) website has made its way in to the hands of scammers, so being a .gov website looks legitimate and they are using old employee details from this company to look more legit! The name i searched up had a linkedin etc so they really have gone the whole 9 yards to appear legitimate. So yeah, don't get fooled as I nearly did, Stay safe out there!
