Turning Gmail to an encrypted email imbox (kind of). I found out this new software that can turn Gmail to an encrypted email inbox so you can send emails using PGP instead of TLS. It also means you don't have to register for encrypted email providers like Proton Mail (unless you want full privacy). The tool is called FlowCrypt and you can download it on your smartphone and as a browser extension. I am not going to get into how to use it but it requires access to your Gmail. Now, if you are extreme with privacy and you don't want anyone to access your emails, that is fine and you can opt in for Proton instead. But they aee trustworthy and have a good reputation.
