Reliable Travel Guide is clearly a scam. Free tickets anywhere = sucker-bait. www.reliabletravelguide.com/ I got a crummy looking letter in the mail today, with "US Airlines" on the top. They said I had won 2 free tickets anywhere, so I called them back for fun. And while they were smart enough not to ask for my social or credit card over the phone, they insisted that I bring a credit card to a meeting, and bring my wife (but no kids!) Now, I have no intention of wasting a beautiful Saturday sitting in a shitty meeting where they try to convince me to buy a time share, all under the guise of a free vacation. It seems they've been doing this around the country, under different names. What really shocked me is that their website is designed to be looked at once, but not really used. You can't sign up on the website, but to access their deals you need to be a member. The phone number that they list is the same on the letter they sent, but the guy who answered claimed to be working for a different company, who was just doing marketing. And neither of these are the company mentioned on the letter anywhere. This is a pathetic scam full of lies. For more details and evidence, check out the link below. And just remember - if it sounds too good to be true, then it is. http://www.fodors.com/community/air-travel/us-airlines-award-notificationscam.cfm
