I purchased a coat from a website called ForesFieldFashion.com. I received the coat and it did not fit. On the website, they tell you to email [email protected] to initiate a return. I did so. I received a reply from a different email address [email protected] stating : "Option 1: Keep the item and receive a 50% refund – No need to send the item back. Option 2: Return the item for a full refund – The item must be returned to our facility. We will be providing you the return address. – Please note that the return shipping fee will be the customer’s responsibility. – Since we do not automatically track return deliveries, you will need to notify us once your package has been delivered so we can finalize the full refund." I replied that I wanted to 50% refund. Their next reply: "Thank you for reaching out. The payment gateway used for the transaction has already been closed on our end, so we are no longer able to process the refund directly through that gateway. Because of this, the best step would be to contact your bank or card provider and inform them that the payment gateway used by the merchant has been closed. They will be able to review the transaction and assist you with the refund from their side. In addition, we will be providing store credit equal to 2x the value of your refund amount as a gesture of goodwill. Please make sure to use the same email address associated with your order, so the credit can automatically be applied.
