Getting random Fantom Opera Network coins added to my Coinbase wallet New crypto user here. The past couple of days the coins husdc.io and fpepe.io have been added to my Coinbase wallet without my knowledge or consent. They are both listed as Fantom Opera Network coins and as such aren’t listed with a value to them in this wallet. I checked these websites and the fpepe one gave no context. The husdc one said that select users who have transacted with the Hop Network are being sent coins to cash out. I do not recall ever interacting with Hop and this is the first time I have heard of it. I’m sensing major scam/hack vibes here, but again I’m very new to crypto and how it works. Should I be concerned? Are these legitimate and if so what do I do with them? Should I play it safe and transfer my crypto to a brand new wallet? I’m not sure how I could have been hacked as I have never shared my wallet info or phrase with anyone and exclusively use it to transfer my crypto to and from the Coinbase exchange.
