Mook Henry (Cash App account name) contacted me from a Reddit post I made asking for advice on where to get neon day geckos. They used the username abovereptiles12. He told me his website was frogshubb.com and I verified this by emailing frogshubb.com's listed contact email address. I have proof of the the original post, the messages between them through private message and email, as well as proof of the payments through Cash App and their website contact and refund pages. This person strongly encouraged me to use Cash App to pay them, insisting on an unprotected method and offering excuses why I couldn't use other payment options. I'd never used Cash App before. They also contacted me multiple times asking me to use cryptocurrency instead, I refused. After they pushed me to do so, I put a down payment on the geckos (the first transaction was $190 on Feb. 26 2026) and planned to pay the remaining $255 (totaling $445) when they shipped on March 26th. The user constantly contacted me, asking for the money early, to ship earlier, and to send it to a different Cash App account. At one point, they begged (their word) for me, again, to do cryptocurrency, because they didn't want to pay the extra costs, which I don't understand. I still refused. When I finally agreed to let them ship the geckos earlier than agreed upon and paid the $255 on March 23, 2026, they then claimed they couldn't ship because the geckos needed a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection, requiring another $200+ dollars. They also blamed me for not knowing they needed one, despite supposedly selling animals online. I didn't want to give this person any more money and requested a refund. They tried multiple times to make a deal to get me to give them more money, but finally gave up and agreed to return $400 of the $445 I sent.
