I wanted to get my GED so I went through a GED program that my North Carolina insurance worked with, they got me to start using the GED.com website and it worked well for me at first, I completed all of my practice tests with no issue. I then started paying for the real GED tests (there is one for each subject) and I was an hour and a half into my English test when I was unfairly kicked off of it because my friend walked past me to go to her car for work, understandable at the bare minimum because it's techincally "breaking the rules" but she didn't have to kick me off the test because of it. (I lost the money I gave them for the first test because of this) I then went on to pay for social studies and even though I sent the payment, now that the testing day is here the website is claiming that I never scheduled my test or even paid for it! I would also like to add that when I realized their website is broken and unfair I tried to schedule a test in person instead, and coincidentally all of a sudden there are absolutely NO testing dates at any areas around me through the GED.com website. They have unfairly screwed me and made this process a nightmare for me, I don't have a job anymore and no source of income so paying for all of this for everything to go like this has been a surprisingly harsh hit on my wallet.
