In a web search, I came across GoComGo.com as a ticket reseller for international events. They advertised tickets to Astor at Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires. I submitted an order for 5 tickets for the event about three weeks away. Upon submitting the order, I received the expected order confirmation stating that my tickets would be provided two weeks prior to the event. Although it came up as a .com site, the actual ccTLD was .by for Belarus, and the credit card charge indicated Minsk the capital. Traveling internationally, initially this did not cause alarm. No tickets arrived, two weeks prior, and the day of the show I received an emails from [email protected] that there were no tickets available, and that a refund would be issued. As I was already set to go to the show, I went to the box office an hour before the show, and was easily able to buy tickets for great seats for hundreds less than what gocomgo offered. The next day I responded to their customer service to let them know tickets were available, and inquired as to when my refund would be available. They told me 14 to 30 days. Now I know that this is just a delay tactic to get you to not dispute the charge on your credit card until it is too late to recover the funds.
