My dog had passed and I was looking for a puppy. I found an ad for an Australian cattle dog puppy from heeler heart kennels on gooddog.com. (The ad has since been pulled). I filled out the email inquiry, was contacted by text and email by Thomas. He sent me pics and a video of a puppy named "Arrow." I had to fill out a questionnaire to see if I was a good fit for Arrow. Surprise, I was. He then asked for $600 for the dog and $300 to ship it. He sent information about how a handler would fly out with Arrow to the airport in San Antonio. I sent the money thru Zelle. It went to a CPA named Adrianna Berry. I have since looked up Adrianna Berry, a CPA on TikTok, and I think she has no idea her name being used. Also, his phone number is connected to Christine Villa.I was supposed to get a sales contract that night and I didn't. The next day I received a text saying Arrow would be arriving in 3 days and to get ready for him, buy him a leash, crate, toys etc. I asked where the contract was and he said it was coming. The next day he said he was concerned about Arrow eating properly and that he makes his own dog food and for $90/month I can subscribe to his dog food program. That made me suspicious and I asked him what ingredients were in the special food and he didn't reply. I went online and searched "heelerheartkennels puppy scam and it was on BBB. My heart sank. I went back to the website and took a closer look. The links for Facebook, X and instagram didn't work, the symbol at the top of the site was of an Australian Shephard, not a heeler, the R wasn't correct in "Heart." All the people listed on the "team" were fake, stock photos. No picture or mention of Thomas. Thomas sent the purchase agreement, it had been cut and pasted from other sites, the font and size of font changed.
