I received a letter in the mail directed towards my new LLC. It stated that my “business is required by federal law to post a current complaint labor law poster in the workplace”, and “failure to post required state and federal labor law notices can result in fines of nearly $40,000”. It then proceeded to tell me to mail off a check or money order of $92.58 for said poster of compliance. I figured it might be a scam when there was a website address hidden at the top as “https://govdocs.online” rather than a formal government website address.
