Went to groplex.com and ordered a three month supply of shampoo/conditioner which took roughly 3 weeks to get here but while I was waiting for that I received this order. It was also labeled on the bottles Growplex but it was coming from this random address from Franklin Park. When I finally got the legitimate Growplex order the amount of bottles in my three-month supply were correct but the packaging for the bottles and the bottles themselves looked and smelled different than the counterfeit ones. The real bottles came in a regular box packaging, and the counterfeit ones came in a similar looking but sealed in plastic wrap box. I noticed the color for the label was off, the batch number was incorrect by the font size and color, and the side labels of the box were on the wrong sides of the box compared to the real one. After googling the address where the counterfeit bottles came from there were a few posts and articles on how that exact address is a scam warehouse. Not sure how they're still able to be in business. I have multiple photos of the difference in look if you need more evidence. It was a good counterfeit but not good enough especially when I purchased the real version. Not sure how they got my info when I only ever purchased from the legit website which is why we are worried. We are going to double check our accounts today, but this scam product could have ingredients in it that are very harmful to someone. There is a QR code on the front of the package which I did not scan or click on I assume that is the scam on top of the counterfeit product. I will be keeping the packaging as well as the counterfeit products for evidence if needed. Our only other thought was that Growplex possibly sells your information or has a breach in their security where these scammers are able to find the addresses of the legitimate customers to pull this scam.
