Scammers posing as United employees - caller ID shows the United 1800 # I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone but I just had someone call me pretending to me from United, asking me all sorts of questions with a ton of information about me after I complained about the company on social media. The caller ID shows up as the official United 1-800 number and they're persistent as fuck. I was tired and out of it, dealing with other things at the same time so they almost had me going for a bit. If you ever get a call from United after complaining (but you haven't provided your phone number or info), hang up and call the official number back to make sure you get an actual rep on the line.
