Anthropic account hacked – $600 gift cards redeemed, chats deleted, usage at 100% with zero activity. Support refusing to help. Hi everyone, I’m dealing with a serious account compromise on Anthropic (Claude AI) and wanted to see if anyone has experienced something similar. **What happened:** * My account was hacked * Hackers purchased and **redeemed $600 worth of gift cards** (charges appeared under “Hermes.md”) * There were also **over $10,000 in additional unauthorized requests** * All my chat history has been **completely deleted** * My usage suddenly spiked to **100%** even though I haven’t used the account at all I had to contact my bank to block the card. Now I’m facing issues using that card for normal transactions. Anthropic’s support has only offered a $23.60 refund for my Pro subscription and refuses to investigate the [Hermes.md](http://Hermes.md) charges or the gift card fraud, saying it’s “out of scope.” Has anyone faced similar unauthorized gift card purchases or account abuse on Anthropic or other AI platforms?
