The provided URL, heydudeonline.us.com, is impersonating the real "Hey Dude" website which is heydude.com. Not only is the fraudulent site set up to look very similar to the real site and professionally made, but it also was one of the first sites to pop up when searching the brand on Google. The "tell tale sign" that it's fake is that all of the shoes are heavily discounted, and none of the legitimate discount codes work on the site. I assumed the coupon code issue was a fluke, and attempted to check out anyway. Luckily, both cards I used blocked the charge, which ultimately allowed me to realize that I was almost victim to a scam. I did notice that two payment attempts were made on one of my cards, one to Apple Pay and one to Google, but no attempted charges actually went to Hey Dude / Crocs. I notified my credit card company, who confirmed the compromised transactions and shut down my account. Be careful to confirm the URL when purchasing Hey Dude shoes! Ad shown on TikTok about huge sale for heydude shoes. Link took me to heydude looking website. Didn't notice it was a highprae.com and not heydude.com until I made a purchase and it was too late.
