I thought I was booking on Hilton's site. They mirrored their site. I made the reservation about 5 months in advance. It was non-refundable. When I received the confirmation I noticed the hotelvalues.com email and was concerned. I called Hilton. They said it probably was a 3rd party but they did see the reservation. I, too, saw the reservation in my Hilton account so I felt better. BUT...a few weeks before my travel, they canceled the reservation. Hilton refunded the 3rd party the funds but the 3rd party did not refund me. I received confirmation that my reservation was canceled and there is nothing I can do about it.
