Talent Consultant Scammers I wanted to put this somewhere as a warning to others. I have had the most persistent emails from Headway Talent Consulting and a person named Ken asking for an interview for a position that was in my field, but I never applied for. The initial email he sent was crafty, titled something like " Missed Email." It stated I must have missed the initial email, but he'd still like to speak with me. I ignored it; I then ignored the additional 4 emails he sent requesting I schedule an interview time. The emails came through at all hours of the night, and early morning. I've been in recruiting, and I have sleep issues from time to time. Even if you find a candidate at 2AM, you schedule that intro email to send at a reasonable time so you don't look crazy. Anyway, curious about what the gig was, I finally put in for the interview this afternoon after a 5th and slightly more personalized email. The only options were a few days out at the very end of the day. They asked for email, address and phone, all information that I know is readily available with my professional social media presence and Linkedin. I get a follow up with instructions about filling in the application and that all fields are needed, blah blah blah, a skills assessment is also requested. The website emphasizes filling in all information as it's part of the test to see how well we follow directions; they say the information will be needed to run a "background" search prior to job placement. I didn't bother clicking through to see the application, I'm sure it's trying to catch people's personal info for identity theft. The website had only been up for 3 days when his initial emails came through. The website looks canned and stock photo professional. But they took time to upload case studies to seem legit.
