I received an email about a job opportunity. When I looked into who they were, I found that their website listed multiple ISO certifications. I searched IAFCertSearch.org and did not find them. I then wrote to them—via an online form, not an email–TWICE, saying I was considering working for them, but would they please send me copies of their certifications? (There are several recorders of registrations, and a company could indeed be registered but not be recorded.) Bottom line, ISO certification means a lot to IT people. Further, their site makes them sound like a large firm. Their apartment is a townhouse. Maybe it's all fake, maybe not.
