huge privacy risk with my icloud mail account - apple support dont know what to do a few weeks ago i set a mail rule to forward specific emails to an external mailbox (not in icloud). that mailbox is shared with a team. I realized that my rule was to broad and forwards more emails than i intended - so i quickly deleted the rule. (i created and deleted the rule from icloud.com/mail). apparently, the rule was not deleted from icloud mail servers. so it doesnt show up anymore on my end (in rules list on ios/macos/iclouc.com) but its still working, and forwarding some of my personal emails to a shared mailbox with other people. some of the emails are medical related, and a lot of personal details. i quickly contacted the apple support team, i spoke with 3 reps - none of them understood the cause of the issue, none of them took it seriously enough to even set up a follow up call - and right now im a few weeks in, and i dont see any way to get it solved. what bothers me the most is - the only reason i even know about this issue is because i also have access to this shared mailbox outside of icloud - there is no indication of this rule/issue on my end, i could easily forwarded personal emails to external mailbox and not know about it. any suggestions for next steps?
