In February, I was contacted by an individual offering a part-time job opportunity that claimed I could earn income by completing online tasks. The job required only internet access. After a short training phase, I was instructed to complete tasks by clicking on sets of items (typically 40 items per set), which supposedly generated profits. As part of the process, I was required to deposit my own money in Bitcoin to continue completing tasks. Initially, I made small profits, and on approximately day five, I received a payout of $800, which built trust in the platform. As I continued, my account balance increased to approximately $9,040. However, I was then told I needed to deposit $4,000 in Bitcoin to withdraw my funds. I sent the $4,000 in separate Bitcoin transactions. After this payment, I was informed that I needed to deposit an additional $1,500 before I could withdraw. On April 16, I sent another $1,500 in Bitcoin. The platform confirmed receipt and showed my balance increasing to approximately $10,543. However, when I attempted to withdraw, I was told I needed to deposit an additional $3,000 to proceed. At this point, I recognized this as a fraudulent scheme. I have not been able to withdraw any funds despite multiple payments.
