How do phishing websites work when they have completely unrelated domains? I am wondering how phishing websites with domains completely unrelated to their targets work. For example I saw a website that was an exact copy of the website for "[www.investmentcompany.com](https://www.investmentcompany.com)" but the phishing website's domain was [www.techwise.me/file](https://www.techwise.me/file). ​ My question is how could a user accidentally get to that page? Would a phisher use such a website with fake advertisements or a malicious redirect?
